Features & Benefits
The Distal Tibial Intramedullary Nail (DTN) is indicated for a variety of tibial conditions, including simple, spiral, comminuted, long oblique, and segmental shaft fractures (particularly of the distal tibia), as well as distal tibial metaphyseal fractures, non-/mal-unions; it may also be employed, often with specialized devices, for managing bone defects or limb length discrepancies (such as lengthening or shortening).
The set includes a hammer guide shaft, two T20 screwdrivers, drill bits of two diameters (Ø3.2/Ø2.8), curved and straight depth gauges, a sliding hammer, trocars of different specifications and matching cannulated sleeves (including an outer sleeve with an outer diameter of 8.0 and an inner diameter of 5.6), a guide wire holder, and various cannulated reamers (Ø7.5/Ø8.5) and entry reamers to meet precise drilling, depth measurement, and reaming requirements.
The distal tibia instrument set contains a variety of high-precision surgical tools for reduction and fixation of distal tibial fractures. The kit includes positioning arms, coupling connectors, aiming jigs of various specifications, trocars, connecting bolts, trial pieces, protective sleeves, quick couplings, wrenches, guide wires, and an aluminum storage box. The components work together to achieve precise positioning, stable fixation, and minimally invasive procedures, facilitating efficient and safe orthopedic surgeries.
The distal end of the main nail has a flat design, facilitating easy insertion into the medullary cavity.
Two angular locking screws at the proximal end prevent rotation and displacement of the fracture segment.
A special anatomical curvature ensures the main nail is optimally positioned within the medullary cavity.
Three intersecting angle locking screws at the distal end provide effective support and fixation.
