Features & Benefits
The Distal Tibial Intramedullary Nail (DTN) is indicated for a variety of tibial conditions, including simple, spiral, comminuted, long oblique, and segmental shaft fractures (particularly of the distal tibia), as well as distal tibial metaphyseal fractures, non-/mal-unions; it may also be employed, often with specialized devices, for managing bone defects or limb length discrepancies (such as lengthening or shortening).
The disinfection box for the distal tibial intramedullary nail is used to store and disinfect the intramedullary nail and related surgical instruments. High-temperature and high-pressure sterilization ensures a sterile environment, and the sealed design prevents contamination. The internal classified partition facilitates the retrieval of instruments and improves surgical efficiency.
The distal end of the main nail has a flat design, facilitating easy insertion into the medullary cavity.
Two angular locking screws at the proximal end prevent rotation and displacement of the fracture segment.
A special anatomical curvature ensures the main nail is optimally positioned within the medullary cavity.
Three intersecting angle locking screws at the distal end provide effective support and fixation.
