2.0mm Maxillofacial Plate System

The 1.5/2.0mm Frontal System is a micro-locking bone grafting system designed for the fine bones of the face.
It is made of pure titanium, which is ultra-thin, low-cut, easy to shape and biocompatible.
Its core advantage is that it provides sufficient stability to fix fractures or osteotomies in the mid-face, periorbital, nasal, maxillary and non-primary weight-bearing areas of the mandible, while minimising soft tissue irritation and the risk of implant exposure.

Smooth plate with rounded edges and screw heads countersunk in the plate, minimising the risk of soft tissue irritation and exposure.

Screws

For self-tapping screws, it is necessary to drill the holes using a depth-limiting drill bit (matching the core diameter of the screw, e.g. 1.1mm, 1.5mm). Then screw in the self-tapping screws.

Self-drilling screws (with cutting edge at the tip) can be screwed in directly, which can improve the convenience of screwing in under the premise of safety.

Screw head design

Screw length

Screw length is usually between 4mm and 16mm. The choice depends on the thickness of the bone block and the need to ensure that the screw is screwed in to provide optimal bone holding force.
